My grandma used to make these every Christmas. The dough was made with anise and lots of eggs. The filling had ceci beans, chocolate, candied citon peel, coffee and cinnamon. The cookies look like ravioli. They're fried, then dipped in warm honey and sprinkled with cinnamon. This recipe takes hours to prepare. I guess that's why it was only for Christmas! I have my own version, but it's not exactly like my grandma's. I'd like the "real" recipe.
