Sorry if the recipe is a bit garbled - it was from my cousins Great Aunt Mary, but the title is the same, and they were always delicious. I'm going to try to make them this weekend. Although, I wish she'd been more specific on the rolling out then assembling part, which I guess would've been second nature to her. Here it is:

NO FAIL NUT ROLLS

bring to boil:
1 cup sour cream - remove from heat
add:
3 tsp butter
5 tsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt - blend and cool a little
add:
2 eggs
1 large yeast crumbled over this to melt

sift:
3 cups flour and add to above
knead well and cover for 10 minutes

divide dough into 3 balls. weigh each ball

for a 1 pound ball put 3/4 pound of nuts
for 3/4 pound ball put 1/2 pound nuts.
roll first ball of dough and spread with nuts

put into 9x13 inch pan and let rise 1 1/2 hour

bake on 350 degrees for 50 minutes. put egg wash on rolls before you bake them.

egg wash:
egg and water mixed and brushed over rolls before you bake them

nut mixture:
3 cups ground nuts
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 stick butter melted
add milk until spreadable.

before you put rolls into oven prick top several times with fork.
