I'm looking for a cookie recipe my Italian grandma from upstate NY used to make for Easter. It was cross shaped, hard, and white, with at rolled gum drop lily on top at the cross. I think it had anise flavoring, but I'm not sure. The top may have been glazed, I'm not sure. My grandma passed away before I was able to get this recipe, and I have lost contact with my relatives there. Thanks. |
