Katrina, I make these every year, they make great gifts. Frosted Pecans 2 to 2-1/2 cups pecan halves 1 cup sugar 5 tablespoons water 1/4 tsp. salt 1-1/4 tsp vanilla 1 tsp cinnamon Toast pecans at 350 degrees for 6-7 minutes. Mix other ingredients in a saucepan. Cover and bring to a boil. Boil until soft ball stage (234-240 degrees on a candy thermometer). Remove from heat. Add nuts and stir until syrup covers nuts and looks frosty. Turn onto waxed paper to cool. Separate nuts while warm.
