1 Tbsp. Margarine 1/2 lb. asparagus 1/4 cup chopped onion Place in an 8 cup glass measure or casserole, cover, and microwave on high for about 4-6 minutes. Add: 3 Tbsp. flour garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste 2 cups milk 1 cup chicken broth Cook on high 8-10 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes, till it comes to a boil and thickens a bit. Makes 4 servings. (Good topped with croutons and a bit of grated cheddar cheese)
