I am going crazy with the mildew smells in my towels! I just purchased (in the past couple months) brand new front loading GE washer and dryer and since then, I have noticed all of my towels smelling mildewy. On the washer there is a setting for 'sanitize' which I guess takes the hot water temperature to that of scalding or some equivalent, which is how I always wash my towels now trying to get rid of the smell (I figure I'll kill the bacteria causing the smell) but it's not working. I don't have the ability really to add vinegar to the rinse cycle 'cuz of the front loading. I need to get rid of the smell (and it's only in the towels - which is kinda weird). HELP!
