Hello Recipelink Fans, My name is Donna. I'm a lurker but have found this forum and the site has helped me a great deal more than any other recipe site so far. I wanted to thank everyone for their recipes and posts. I want to add a new recipe I made last night that was a real hit with my family. Hope you like it! This is my first post and I just had to share the success. Enjoy!

FRENCH VANILLA CREME FRENCH TOAST
Serves 4-5

5 large eggs, beaten (or egg substitute equivalent)
1/2 cup 1% milk
1/2 cup French vanilla coffee creamer, fat free
1 tsp. sugar mixed with 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 loaf texas toast or loaf of french bread, cut into 2-inch thick slices

Mix eggs, milk, creamer, and cinnamon-sugar mixture. Blend well with a wire whip. Set aside.

Spray skillet with Pam, then heat skillet on stove to medium-low heat.

Dip bread slices in egg-milk mixture (do not soak the bread or it will turn out soggy).

Brown bread on both sides in skillet until brown and dry. Keep heat medium-low as to brown and cook without burning.

I served this with turkey bacon, butter, powdered sugar, and syrup.

I suggest trying to limit the fat by using egg white substitute and low-fat milk, and using fat free creamer.

For more taste add just 1 cup of creamer and delete the milk.

This was awesome!!
