Kiwi Orange Sherbet

3 kiwi fruit
1/2 tsp grated orange peel
1/2 cup orange juice
1 3/4 cups milk
3 tbsp nonfat powdered milk
2/3 cup light (white) corn syrup
a drop of green food coloring (optional)

Remove the hard stem end of the kiwis and then peel them. Cut each one into about eight or nine pieces. Put in blender or food processor with the orange juice and the peel. Blend until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and process again until well mixed and smooth. Cover and put in fridge to chill. Put into your sorbet or ice cream maker and freeze.
