Root Beer Ice Cream

Although this is not a sherbet recipe per se, it is one of the best ice cream recipes and does have the consistency of sherbet.

6 cans root beer
1 can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk

In an electric or hand crank ice cream freezer, mix root beer
(the better the root beer the better the ice cream) and sweetened condensed milk. Mix until the freezer is finished, using plenty of salt to reach the desired frozen consistency.
