Topsy Turvy (Fruit Cobbler)
alt.cooking/Wayne Adair (2000)

This is so easy and so good. It is called topsy turvy because you put the batter in first but it is on top when finished.

1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk
1 tsp. baking powder
1 #2 (20 oz) can fruit drained*
1/2 cup butter

Mix first four ingredients.
Put butter in casserole dish and melt in oven.
Pour batter in casserole.
Scatter fruit on top of batter.
Bake at 350 until crusty (30 - 40 minutes).

*Fresh fruit may be used, add sugar to taste.
