Coney Island Sauce

1 tbsp. Shortening
1 tbsp. Butter
2 med. Onions (chopped fine)
1 1/2 lbs. Ground Beef

1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp Chile powder (more if you like)
1 Tbsp prepared mustard
salt and pepper to tate
6 oz. Ketchup
6 oz. water
4 to 5 wieners, ground

Melt Shortening & butter in skillet brown onions & ground beef. Pour off most of the fat. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer until done (thick)

Left over Sauce can be frozen if there is any!
