Night-Before French Toast: Serves 4-6 Source:Women's Circle Home Cooking,Creative Cooking.
1 loaf French bread,cut into 3/4 inch slices 4 Tbls.butter 2/3 c.brown sugar 4 eggs,beaten 2 c.milk 1/2 tsp.cinnamon
The night before serving,melt butter & brown sugar in a small pan,stirring.Pour into a 9x13 inch baking dish.Lay bread slices on top of brown sugar mix.
Combine eggs with milk & cinnamon.Pour over the bread.Cover with plastic wrap & refrigerate overnight.
In the morning,preheat the oven to 350 degrees & uncover baking dish.Bake for 30 minutes.
Serve with syrup,honey or chopped blueberries mixed with 2 Tbls.orange juice.
