Sausage Pasta rec.food.cooking/Grandma Gina (1999)
1 pound sausage, cut into 1/2 inch pieces 1 large onion, quartered and separated into pieces 3 packages (3 oz. each) Ramen noodle soup, chicken flavor 3 tablespoons flour 2 cups water 1 cup frozen peas 1/4 cup sour cream
Saute sausage and onion in large skillet about 8-10 minutes. Meanwhile, bring a large pot of water to boil. Whisk together 2 seasoning packets from soup mix (save the third for another use), flour, and the 2 cups water in a bowl until smooth. Add along with the peas to the sausage-onion mixture. Bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover, and cook 3-5 minutes or until heated through. Add the noodles to the boiling water and cook 3 minutes. Drain well then mix with the sausage mixture. Stir in sour cream and heat through. Do not boil.
