Cherry Italian Ice or Chocolate Ice rec.food.cooking/Tom Picciani (1998)
6 cups water 1 cup sugar (you may want to measure heavy on the sugar) 1 1/2 cups finely chopped Marachino cherrys with juice.
Mix and place in ice cream freezer.
You can also substitute 1/2 cup Hershey's chocolate syrup for the cherries.
