FLANK STEAK WITH HONEY MUSTARD 6 servings
½ cup prepared mustard with seeds 1 tb soy sauce 1 tb honey 1 ½ lbs beef flank steak 1 lb large mushrooms
Preheat the broiler according to instructions. In a bowl, mix mustard soy sauce honey and 1 tb water until blended. With sharp knife, lightly score both sides of the steak. Place the steak on a rack in broiler pan. Brush the steak with some honey mustard mixture; broil 5 minutes. Turn steak; arrange mushrooms around the meat. Brush the steak and mushrooms with remaining honey mustard mixture; broil 5 minutes longer for rare or until of desired doness. To serve arrange steak and mushroom on cutting board. Slice the steak in thin slices. Serve with garlic mashed potatoes!
