Marinated Black Olives
1 teaspoon minced garlic 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar 1 tablespoon dried Italian seasoning 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil 1/4 cup caper juice 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes 1/2 cup water 8 ounces pitted medium or large black olives, drained
Mix marinade ingredients in a glass jar. Add olives. Combine all ingredients in a non-reactive container, cover, and marinate at room temperature for at least 1 hour.
