Ziti Casserole 8 oz Ziti 1 c Onion chopped 1 Garlic clove, minced 1/4 c Red wine 1/2 tsp Pepper 1 c Sour cream 1 1/2 lb Ground beef 1/2 lb Mushrooms, sliced 2 c Spaghetti sauce 1 tsp Salt 4 oz Mozzarella cheese
Cook pasta as directed on package, reducing cooking time to 5 minutes. Meanwhile, saute beef and onions until beef is well browned. Add mushrooms and garlic and cook 3 minutes. Drain ziti and combine meat mixture, sauce, wine, oregano, salt and pepper. Mix well. Pour into 2 greased 13x9 inch baking dishes and sprinkle with cheese. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Serve with sour cream. |
