Barbecued Pecans
rec.crafts.textiles.quilting/Polly E (2001)

This is one of the recipes I have five stars beside. It is great but you can't go answer the phone or something because they go from perfect to burned in just a blink.

Melt
2 tablespoons butter

Mix it with:
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
l tablespoon catsup
2 splats of hot sauce
Stir mixture into:
4 cups pecan halves

Spread pecans evenly on a jelly roll pan (a cookie sheet without sides would be too challenging).

Bake at 300 degrees for three minutes, stir.

Bake 3 more minutes and stir up to 15 minutes total but Watch! They will burn soooo fast.

Put pecans on paper towels and sprinkle with salt while pecans are still hot.
