Egg Nog Cherry Nut Loaf alt.cooking-chien/Connie Van (1999) Makes 2 loaves
2 1/2 cups flour 3/4 cups sugar 1 tbsp baking powder 1 beaten egg 1 tsp salt 1 1/4 cups homemade egg nog or dairy eggnog 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans 1/3 cup oil 1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries
In mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Mix egg nog, egg and oil together. Stir into dry ingredients mixing well. Fold in nuts and cherries. Turn into 2 greased 8x4x2-inch loaf pans.
Bake in 350F oven for 45-50 minutes.
