HOT GERMAN POTATO SALAD

3 lbs potatoes, cooked, peeled, cut into 1/4" cubes
12 slices bacon, diced, fried crisp
6 tblsp bacon drippings
2 cups chopped onions
1 cup minus 2 tblsps cider vinegar
1 1/2 tsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Heat drippings in skillet, add onion and cook till tender. Stir in vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper, heat to boiling. Mix in bacon. Pour over hot potatoes in serving dish. Toss to coat. Garnish with parsley and paprika. Serve hot.
