Sausage and Cheese Balls 1 pound bulk sausage 1/2 pound sharp cheddar cheese -- finely grated 3 cups Bisquick. baking mix 1 egg 1 tablespoon fennel seed -- crushed1 teaspoon cayenne pepper -- or to taste
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well using your hands. Roll mixture into balls about 1 inch in diameter and place on a lightly greased baking sheet about 1 1/2 inches apart. Bake 15 - 20 minutes, turning after 10 minutes. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
