This is an easy and very good recipe for Smashed Garlic Potatoes.

8 Large Russet Potatoes
1 stick of salted butter
3oz. of cream cheese
salt and pepper to taste
garlic powder...as much as you like
Milk to bring it to desired cosistency

Scrub potatoes until they're nice and clean. Fill a large pot with enough water to cover the potatoes. Add some olive oil to the water, and a teaspoon of salt. Boil until the potatoes are tender.
Smash the potatoes, skin and all, with a potato masher. Add in the cream cheese, butter and seasoning. When all are melted and combined,add the milk and continue to whip.
Voila'.....Garlic Smashed Potatoes!
