BLACK BEAN HUMMUS
2 cups cooked black beans, drained well 1 cup cooked garabanzo beans, drained well 1 tablespoon roasted garlic** 1 teaspoon ground cumin 2 tblsp. Tahini, [sesame seed paste] Use 1 tblsp. Asian sesame oil if Tahini not available. 1 tblsp. lemon juice or lime juice, fresh 1/4 cup virgin olive oil Salt & pepper to taste 1 tsp. cayenne pepper optional
Puree the ingredients in a food processor and chill. Serve as a dip with assorted fresh vegetables, pickled vegetables, Armenian cracker bread, or other crackers.
