Turkey and Broccoli Cheese Soup Serving: Serves: 5 to 6
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter 1 small onion, chopped 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour 3 cups milk 1 container (12 ounces) turkey gravy 2 cups diced cooked turkey 1 package (10 ounces) frozen chopped broccoli, thawed 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Melt the butter in a soup pot over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes, or until tender. Add the flour, stirring until the onions are well coated. Add the remaining ingredients, mix well. Cook for 12 to 15 minutes, or until heated through and the cheese has melted, stirring occasionally.
