ANNIVERSARY CHICKEN Recipe By: Kalyn Servings: 6 Categories: 5-10G Low Carb Poultry Chicken Breasts
2 tbsp vegetable oil 6 skinless boneless chicken breast halves 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce -- subbed for teriyaki baste & glaze (less carbs) 1/2 cup ranch salad dressing 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 3 green onions -- chopped 3 oz bacon -- 90gr cook,crumb or half jar real bacon bits
Preheat oven to 350°F-180°C . In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add chicken breasts and saute 4 to 5 minutes on each side until lightly browned. Place browned chicken breasts in a 9 x 13" 230x330mm baking dish. Brush each with teriyaki sauce, then spoon on salad dressing. Sprinkle with cheese, green onions, and bacon bits. Bake for about 20 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear. NOTES : Although topped with an unlikely combination of convenience foods (teriyaki sauce, ranch dressing, bacon bits and cheddar cheese), this chicken is delicious.
