Dill-Sauced Salmon

Yield: Serves 2

2 fresh or frozen salmon steaks
Boiling water
1 small onion, quartered
1/2 cup dairy sour cream or imitation sour cream
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried dill weed

Thaw frozen fish. Place on greased rack in 10 in skillet. Add boiling water to cover. Add quartered onion and 1 teaspoon salt. Simmer, covered ,until fish flakes easily, 5-10 minutes. Carefully remove fish. Cover. Spoon sour cream mixture over salmon. Garnish with lemon and lime slices and fresh dill weed, if desired. Enjoy.
