Fried Rice Shoyu Serves 5 people
1 egg, beaten lightly 2 tsp vegetable oil 1 tsp shoyu (soy sauce) 4 cups cooked rice 1 cup chopped scallions 1/2 cooked shrimp, crabmeat, diced pork or ham 1/2 cup cooked green peas
Heat oil in skillet; add beaten egg and scramble briefly. Add all remaining ingredients except shoyu. Cook over medium heat 4 or 5 minutes, stirring gently. Add shoyu; mix thoroughly. Cook 2 minutes. - rec.food.recipes/elly (egad)/1999
