These are both very good recipes. I usually add butter with them when serving and both recipes are delicious warm or cold. I bottle them, keep them in the fridge and have kept them for weeks with no problems.

AMISH PANCAKE SYRUP

1 1/4 cups Brown Sugar
1/3 cup Corn Syrup
1 cup Water
3/4 cup White Sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla

Bring sugars, corn syrup and water to a boil stirring constantly. Simmer on low heat for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla.

MOCK MAPLE SYRUP

4 cups Brown Sugar
2 cups Boiling Water
1/4 cup Light Corn Syrup (Karo)
2 teaspoons Maple Flavoring

Mix first three ingredients and bring to a good boil. Remove from heat and add flavoring.
