Nadine's Mom's Banana Bread

This is my mom's recipe and is a proven crowd pleaser!

1 stick (1/2 cup) butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cups flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
2 overripe bananas, mashed with a fork

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Add dry ingredients, mix well. Fold in bananas by hand. Pour into greased loaf pans, bake at 350F for 30-35 min uncovered, 10-15 min covered loosely with foil, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

*this is a really easy recipe and can be doubled for the amount of bad bananas you have. If you would like to add nuts to it, I would guess about 1/2 cup of walnuts should do!
