Golden Corn Pudding

1/4 cup sugar
3 TBS all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp salt
6 eggs
2 cups whipping cream
1 stick melted butter
6 cups frozen corn (2 pkgs.)

In a small bowl, combine sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. In a large bowl, beat eggs with a fork; stir in whipping cream and melted butter. Gradually add sugar mixture to cream mixture, stirring until smooth. Stir in corn. Pour into a buttered baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden brown and tests done. Let stand at least 5 minutes before serving.

Note: The corn pudding is very rich, and was excellent last year. It reminds me of my grandmother's. Recipe can be halved.
