Hawaiian Slice

1 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup coconut
1/3 cup butter or margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup cooking oil
2 eggs
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup cut cherries(maraschino)

Mix first five ingredients; press into a 9x12 inch pan. Mix remaining ingredients; pour over first mixture. Bake at 325 degrees F for 35-40 minutes. Do not overbake.
