Cherry Tea

1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup double strength tea, cooled
1 cup canned, pitted, sour cherries
3/4 cup cherry juice
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tbsp. pineapple juice
1 quart cold water

Put 1 cup water and sugar in a small saucepan; bring to a boil, stirrig to dissolve sugar. Boil 5 minutes. Set aside to cool. Put tea, cherries, lemon juice, pineapple juice in blender container; cover and run on speed 7 (high) until cherries are liquified. Pour into a pitcher; stir in syrup and 1 quart cold water. Chill. To serve, stir and our over ice cubes in tall glasses. Makes 8 servings.
