CLUB STEAK WITH ONIONS
2 club steaks or any other kind of steak 2 onions, peeled and sliced 1 Idaho potato, peeled and sliced Pinch of cumin 2 tb olive oil Salt and pepper to taste !/4 cup white wine or sherry (or less liquid) 2 tb White Worcestershire Sauce Parsley, chopped, to taste
Add in the order mentioned: olive oil, onion slices, potato slices and some Salt and Pepper. Season the two steaks with salt and pepper and ground cumin. Add on top of the vegetables. Sprinkle with flour (about 1 Tb), for thickening while it cooks. Add the wine and the White Worcestershire and top with the Parsley. Cover and cook 8 to 10 hours.
Serve these steaks, each over one bread slice, topped with the sauce and vegetables. It is a one dish meal and delicious.
