CANDIED MANGOES
4 mangoes, peeled and sliced 1 1/2 cups water 2 cups of sugar
Heat the water and boil the mango until it begins to be tender. Remove the water, add 1 cup sugar and cook in low heat for 1/2 hour. Add the rest of the sugar and boil for another 1/2 hour until the syrup is thick. Serve cold with white native cheese.
