LBJ Dip
rec.food.recipes/Neris/1999
Makes 2 1/2 quarts. Enough for a large party.

A great Mexican party dip. The recipe can be easily halved for a smaller party. I usually serve this from a crock pot.

2 lbs hot bulk sausage (Jimmy Dean or Owens)
1 large onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tsp. chili powder
3 large cans chili without beans
1 lb. Velveeta cheese, grated
1/2 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
4-5 jalapenos, seeded and deveined, chopped
2 can diced Rotel tomatoes

Cook sausage, onion and garlic. Drain excess grease. Add chili, chili powder, cheeses, jalapenos and Rotel. Heat and serve warm with tortilla chips.
