Italian Cheese-Potato Bread (bread machine)

2 1/2 teaspoons dry yeast
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon (scant) salt
2/3 cup mashed potatoes
1 cup Monterey Jack cheese; cubed
2 eggs
1/3 cup milk; warmed
2 teaspoons dried oregano

Place all ingredients in bread machine according to manufacturer's instructions. Bake on White Bread setting.

Makes a dense loaf of very flavorful bread.
