Oatmeal and Peanut Butter Bars
Source: Woman's Day Magazien, March 1989

3/4 cup smooth or chunky peanut butter
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup reduced calorie margarine
1/4 cup honey
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup quick-cooking oats
1 cup uncooked oat bran
1/2 cup non-fat dry milk

Heat oven to 350. Line 13x9-inch baking pan with foil.

Beat peanut butter, brown sugar, and margarine in a large bowl with a wooden spoon or electric mixer until well blended.

Beat in honey, egg, and vanilla. Stir in oats, oat bran, and milk powder until well mixed and slightly crumbly. Press evenly into prepared pan.

Bake 20 to 25 minutes until edges are lightly browned and top looks dry. Cool completely in pan.

Lift foil by ends onto cutting board. Cut in 2-inch squares.
