Breakfast Fig Bars

3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup honey
1 large egg
1/2 cup milk
8 oz. dried figs, chopped
3/4 cup chopped pecans, divided
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats, uncooked

Preheat oven to 350. Grease 13x9-inch pan.

Combine flours, baking soda, cinnamon, salt and baking powder in bowl.

Beat brown sugar, oil, honey and egg in mixer bowl until smooth. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.

Stir in figs, 1/2 cup pecans and oats. Spread in prepared pan. Sprinkle top with remaining nuts.

Bake 30 minutes. Cool.
