Crock Pot Rice Pudding with Optional Fruit
rec.food.recipes/Tom & Pat Bridges/2002
Yield: 8 servings

6 cups milk
1 cup rice
3/4 cup sugar
3 tbsp margarine
dash of salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup washed raisins (optional)
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

Put all ingredients into crock pot. Stir to blend well. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or more. Stir after 2 hours. The longer it cooks the thicker it will be.

*Substitute canned milk for the regular milk for a very rich flavor.
