My DS just brought home a basketful of fresh mission figs from his trip to the lake. How wonderful to come here & find so many recipes. I have loved fresh figs since I was just a little girl. Mom would slice a few into my Shirley Temple bowl & sprinkle just a tiny bit of sugar on them & then drizzle on a little cream, & make us some toast & that would be our breakfast. What a simple yet indulgent morning meal. Cali
