Five-Spice Marinade

This marinade works well with pork chops, but can also be used on loin roasts or tenderloins.

1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup dry sherry
1/2 cup minced onion
2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger root
2 teaspoons five-spice powder
2 tablespoons chili oil
2 teaspoons sesame oil

In self-sealing bag, combine all ingredients. Add 4 pork chops to bag, seal and refrigerate overnight. Discard any leftover marinade.
