Beer Basted Steaks 6 sirloin steaks 1/4 cup brown sugar 1 1/2 tablespoons grainy mustard 1 tablespoon white vinegar 1 onion finely chopped 1 bay leaf 1 cup beer
Combine all ingredients in a pan. Bring to boil, reduce heat, simmer for 10 minutes, cool.
Pour mixture over steaks. Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours, turning steaks occasionally.
Barbecue steaks until golden brown on both sides. If using marinade to baste the steaks, bring to a boil first and boil 1 minute.
