Homemade Boursin Feel free to substitute fresh herbs if you can. A general rule is to use double if the herbs are fresh as the flavor of dried is more intense.
8 oz. unsalted butter 16 oz. cream cheese 1 tsp oregano 2 cloves garlic mashed to a paste with a bit of salt 1/4 tsp thyme 1/4 tsp marjoram 1/4 tsp dill 1/4 tsp sweet basil 1/4 tsp black pepper a few grains of cayenne give it a kick!
Mix it well using your mixer.
* NOTE from Calliope....I use reduced fat cream cheese and reduced fat sour cream for this.
