The Californian Sandwich Recipe

8 slices pumpernickel bread
4 leaves, romaine or red leaf lettuce
12 ounces boneless, skinless turkey breast
1/2 cup low-fat cream cheese
1 1/2 cups alfalfa sprouts
1 medium mango, peeled and thinly sliced
1 pear, cored and thinly sliced

Spread 1 tablespoon cream cheese on each slice of bread. Place 1 lettuce leaf, 3 ounces of turkey breast and 1/4 of the alfalfa sprouts on top of the cream cheese. Place mango and pear slices on top of alfalfa sprouts and top with remaining slice of bread.

Makes 4 Servings
