SWISS STEAK
1 piece round steak 2 medium onions 2 medium green bell peppers 1 large can whole tomatoes salt and pepper to taste
Trim the fat from the round steak and cut it into serving size pieces. Brown on both sides in a skillet with a little canola oil.
Peel the onions, wash and clean the peppers. Chop the veggies into bite size pieces.
Put the meat in a single layer in a baking dish, spread the veggies evenly over top of meat. Season as desired.
Chop the tomatoes into bite-size pieces and pour juice and all over top of veggies.
Cover dish with foil and cook in 325F oven for about 2 hours, or until meat is tender.
Serve over rice or noodles.
