Quick-Mix Homemade Mexican Chorizo
Use in burritos, on taco salads or in a Southwestern casserole. Even spice up your morning by adding this sausage in a tortilla with scrambled eggs and salsa.
1 pound ground pork 1 tablespoon ground red chiles 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 1/4 teaspoon oregano 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin 2 garlic cloves, minced 1 teaspoon salt
Thoroughly mix seasonings into pork. May refrigerate covered to allow flavors to "marry".
Shape into patties and brown OR crumble and brown for use in a recipe.
