HAMBURGER AND VEGETABLE CASSEROLE
4 large potatoes, sliced 4 carrots, sliced 1 can sweet peas, drained 2 large onions, sliced 1 small can sliced mushrooms 1 1/2 to 2 lb. lean ground beef, browned and drained 1 large can condensed cream of tomato soup Water to equal soup
Place layers of the vegetables in the order given in a large crockpot. Season each layer with salt and pepper. End each layer with ground beef.
Mix the soup and water and pour into crockpot.
Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high 4 hours. Stir occasionally.
