Nancy's Sausage and Corn Chowder
1# bulk sausage, browned and drained
1 28 oz. can tomatoes
1 tomato can of water
1 C chopped onions
1 lb. can whole kernel corn
1 lb. can cream style corn
3 TBS basil
2 TBs sugar
5 oz. can evaporated milk
diced potatoes, optional
Add all ingredients except milk and simmer for 45 minutes. Add milk and bring just to simmer. Serve with corn bread.
This is so easy and so delicious.
