Steak Salsas
Salsas are a colorful, flavorful accompaniment, either served alongside or on top of steaks.
GINGER-MANGO SALSA: 2 cups finely diced fresh mango 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 1 tablespoon minced fresh cilantro 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger salt and pepper
Combine all ingredients in medium bowl. Makes about 2 cups.
ANTIPASTO SALSA: 2 medium tomatoes, coarsely chopped 1 small yellow bell pepper, chopped (optional) 1 can (2 1/4 ounces) sliced pitted ripe olives, drained 1/4 cup finely chopped onion 2 tablespoons Italian dressing 1 tablespoon small capers, drained (optional) 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley or basil leaves (optional) 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
Combine all ingredients in medium bowl. Makes about 2 cups.
