Pecan Country Coffee Cake
1/2 c corn syrup 2 T margarine, softened 2 T packed brown sugar 1 c coarsely chopped pecans 1 1/2 c baking mix with buttermilk 1/3 c sugar 1/2 t cinnamon 1/3 c milk 1 egg 1 t vanilla
Heat oven to 350. In 8" baking pan, combine 1/4 c corn syrup, margarine and brown sugar. Sprinkle with pecans. Spread mixture evenly over bottom of pan. In medium bowl, combine mix, sugar and cinnamon. Stir in remaining 1/4 c syrup, milk, egg and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into pan. Bake 30 minutes. Loosen edges with knife. Immediately invert onto serving plate. Serve warm.
